Here at Imagistream, we separate ourselves from a typical integrator by providing upper level systems programming. These applications typically provide plant floor flow control, monitoring, and reporting. This gives you as a user that ability to control and see what is happening on the plant floor beyond the typical PLC based controls and views.
Our applications are typically built in the .NET environment using a MSSQL database. This provides the ease of using well known and supported technology that provides a reliable service. Because the environment is in the .NET world, the deployment is extremely rapid and, more importantly, simple. In the case of a major failure, recovery time is reduced to a matter of powering up a computer.
Our applications are built using our RunX standards to provide a consistent look and feel to the project. We are able to quickly adapt to any inputs needed for a total solution.
We are flexible to be able to provide a solution that can be a windows service or have a user GUI for quick display. User dashboards have been developed in order to minimize the risk in operation security but still provide a means to quickly control the system with a matter of a couple of mouse clicks.
Our typical reporting uses SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). This gives the ability to keep the reporting on a closed network or opening it up to the plant network so that anyone can see the reports from their desk. By using SSRS, report addition, modification, and deletion is done quickly by using a web based report management.
